WHAT PEOPLE SAY

They’re very generous with their portions of bread & butter pudding

Love this place. Good coffee, excellent home made food, and a friendly owner. So nice to have somewhere with personality to have coffee rather than a chain!

It’s terrific to feel so cosy & welcome in a place I’d assume was too young & hip for me! i can’t wait to come back! Thanks to Electric Elephant Cafe for having South London Cares over for a cuppa and slice of cake. The atmosphere really was electric!

South London Cares

When in London, head to The Electric Elephant Cafe for the best veggie sausage sandwich of your life. Tested during the Safestay tour, this is just round the corner from their luxury hostel

Watch Me See A Scotland Travel Blog

Such a gem of a cafe. It is tucked behind the busier high street for welcome relief from the bustle. It has a quirky and eclectic decor and vintage cups and cutlery. The service is great and super friendly. Coffee is real and authentic. Food is tasty and bread is locally baked. Totally recommend

Great little café, with great coffee. Louisa works hard to keep this place at its best

Bermondsey Boy

The Electric Elephant has a rooted social conscience, and during our visit signs were being put up designating it as a safe space for people escaping domestic trouble

Kennington Run Off

The most amazing bread pudding, sadly sells out quickly so as a consolation try the melt in the mouth chocolate brownie or zingy polenta cake
